Linda Griggs Assisting Priest
A native of Blacksburg, Virginia, Linda spent much of her life before seminary in North Carolina. She received her B.A in History and M.S. in Library Science at UNC-Chapel Hill. Her early careers as an archivist, jail librarian, reference librarian and school librarian instilled in her the importance of Story and storytelling. Linda graduated from the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale in 2014 with a Master of Divinity and a Certificate in Anglican Studies. She is Co-Director of KidZone children’s ministry and coordinator of the Eucharistic Visitors. She was ordained to priesthood in May 2016. She and her husband, Malcolm, are parents of two grown children and live in East Greenwich.
