Giving For The Kingdom
Christian stewardship is our grateful response to all of God’s gifts, offering what we have received for building up the church and for serving the world. Stewardship invites us to give of our time, our talent and our treasure to support the mission and ministry of the church.
Saint Martin’s is supported entirely by pledged annual contributions and special gifts from its members.
We are careful financial managers and prudent stewards ourselves of the resources others entrust to us. At the same time, we believe that God calls us to live out of a sense of abundance, not scarcity. We believe that God gives us more than enough to do the work we have been called to do.
We do not have membership fees, minimum pledges or other “official” requirements for giving. The biblical standard is the tithe, 10%, but we welcome gifts of all sizes while encouraging our members to grow in faith and generosity. Pledge cards are available in the parish office, and we will be glad to send you more detailed stewardship information.
